Remote Computer Vision Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Remote Computer Vision Annotator to create high‑quality labeled datasets that power computer‑vision and machine‑learning models. The role involves precise annotation of images and videos, ensuring consistency and accuracy across a variety of visual tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Draw bounding boxes, polygons, polylines and 3D cuboids around objects of interest.
• Place key points for pose estimation and create segmentation masks for pixel‑level labeling.
• Annotate point‑cloud data and LiDAR streams for autonomous‑vehicle and robotics applications.
• Interpret complex labeling taxonomies and refine guidelines in collaboration with data scientists.
• Use advanced features of CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer or Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Identify ambiguous cases, edge cases and potential dataset biases, and report findings.
• Contribute to best‑practice documentation and training materials for new annotators.
• Assist with basic data preparation such as image resizing and format conversion.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data annotation or quality assurance for computer‑vision projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑precision labeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with annotation tools: CVAT, Label Studio, 3D Slicer, Supervisely, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
• Hands‑on experience with bounding‑box, polygon, key‑point, 3D cuboid and segmentation‑mask techniques.
• Solid understanding of computer‑vision concepts such as object detection, image classification, LiDAR and point clouds.
