Sales Analyst Specialist

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Sales Analyst Specialist to join its team in Algiers, Algeria. The role focuses on deep analysis of distributor stocks, sales performance, market share, and related indicators, working closely with the sales team to provide accurate and actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly and monthly reports using Power BI.
• Establish and analyse distributor stock by product, including available quantities, coverage days and purchasing needs.
• Produce sell‑in reports by distributor and product, comparing purchases with product needs.
• Generate sell‑out reports by channel, distributor and product.
• Analyse point‑of‑sale (POS) sales data for distributors.
• Monitor and report on product shelf life.
• Develop market‑share reports and adapt them to sales team requirements.
• Track merchandising performance and sales indicators.
• Evaluate incentive results and pharma activity reports.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Statistics, Operations Research or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fast‑moving consumer goods, preferably in trade marketing or reporting.
• Field experience is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work on projects.
• Proficiency in French, Arabic and English is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (functions and Power Query).
• Power BI proficiency.
• Knowledge of DAX language in Power BI.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
