Sales Manager - Construction Machinery

About the role

The company is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its construction machinery business across Algeria. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the profitability of the regional portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales activities throughout Algeria.
• Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential clients, leading contract discussions and closing deals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
• Conduct regular market and customer visits to uncover new business opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance and key KPIs, proposing corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Collect and analyse market intelligence, including customer insights, competitor activity, pricing trends, and market feedback, to support regional sales strategies.
• Perform ongoing market analysis and competitor research to aid business planning and decision‑making.
• Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes to ensure timely collection and healthy cash flow.
• Take ownership of regional sales profitability and ensure annual sales targets are met or exceeded.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Strong familiarity with the Algerian market and 3‑5 years of relevant sales experience in Algeria; experience in other North African countries is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Prior experience with reputable companies in the construction machinery industry is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑management skills.
