Sales Manager - Construction Machinery

About the role

The company is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead construction machinery sales across Algeria. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the regional sales targets are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales activities throughout Algeria.
• Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential clients, leading contract discussions and deal closures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and track performance against targets.
• Conduct regular market and customer visits to uncover new business opportunities and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and key KPIs, proposing corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Collect and analyze market intelligence, including customer insights, competitor activity, pricing trends, and market feedback.
• Perform ongoing market analysis and competitor research to support business planning.
• Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes to ensure timely collection and healthy cash flow.
• Take ownership of regional sales profitability and ensure annual sales targets are met or exceeded.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3‑5 years of relevant sales experience in Algeria, with strong familiarity of the local market.
• Experience in North African markets is an added value.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Prior experience with reputable companies in the construction machinery industry is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
