Senior Contracts Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Senior Contracts Engineer will lead the contract lifecycle for oil and gas projects, ensuring smooth transitions from pre‑award to post‑award phases. This role requires strong technical and commercial expertise to support high‑quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑award activities, including tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract strategy development.
• Oversee post‑award contract administration, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate hand‑over of contracts to operational teams for seamless execution.
• Analyze tender and contract requirements, develop pricing schedules, and advise end‑users on suitable strategies.
• Maintain accurate contract records using SAP and other relevant software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 8–12+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in both pre‑award and post‑award contract management.
• Strong understanding of contract law and industry best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with SAP modules for contract management.
