Senior Manager Compensation & Benefits - North Africa

About the role

An MNC with a portfolio of high-profile brands and a reputation for being a rewarding place to work is looking for a C&B leader to help shape its growth in North Africa. Reporting to the Regional Director EMEA, you will lead the compensation and benefits agenda across the region, based in Algiers. The role is strategic and operational, in a complex, unionized Algerian environment, with broader regional responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead compensation and benefits strategy, benchmarking and execution across North Africa
• Partner with the Regional Director EMEA on reward strategy, regional expansion and business growth
• Navigate the Algerian unionized environment with credibility and local market expertise
• Manage shared services delivery for C&B administration (experience here is an added advantage)
• Travel within the region as required

Required profile

• 6-8 years of proven compensation and benefits experience
• Ideally a broader HR generalist background, with C&B as your specialism
• Fluency in French and English
• Experience in Algeria, specifically within a unionized operating environment
• Willingness to travel within North Africa and the wider region
• Based in Algiers
