Senior Training Specialist – Communication & Media

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Training Specialist to support its EU policy communication outreach project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role will design and deliver training programmes that enhance the strategic communication capacities of DG MENA and its partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver communication and media training programmes, workshops and seminars.
• Develop training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises for diverse audiences.
• Conduct capacity‑building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement and digital communication.
• Facilitate interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
• Assess participants’ learning needs and adapt training content accordingly.
• Evaluate training outcomes, prepare post‑training reports and recommendations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to communication professionals and institutional stakeholders.
• Support the creation of sustainable learning resources and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in communication, media or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven facilitation skills.
• Fluency in English and, where relevant, French and/or Arabic.
• At least five years of general experience in communication/media.
• Minimum three years of experience designing and delivering training seminars.
