Shift Warehouse Operations Team Leader

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Algeria as a Shift Warehouse Operations Team Leader. You will be responsible for coordinating warehouse and ground‑handling plans to ensure safe, efficient movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools and packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse and manual‑handling processes across owned or leased facilities.
• Coach and guide the team to meet daily work schedules and performance targets.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring they are processed within defined service timelines.
• Participate in inventory planning, product ordering and material scheduling.
• Resolve operational conflicts and align delivery schedules with shippers and customers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date stock information and compare daily movements with production schedules.
• Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Perform inventory control activities, stock turnover analyses and material scheduling.
• Inspect incoming materials for conformity and identify defects.
• Execute safety, security and inventory control programs.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization for raw materials, finished products, tools and packaging.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating warehouse operations and manual handling.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to guide a team.
• Solid understanding of inventory planning, cycle counting and stock control.
• Ability to resolve operational conflicts and work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, security and continuous improvement.
