Social Media Manager – Snapchat (Sports & Pop Culture)

About the role

We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Manager to own the Snapchat publishing pipeline for a fast‑growing digital media network. The role focuses on sports, pop culture and viral internet trends, delivering short‑form, mobile‑first content that drives audience growth and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full content lifecycle: source viral stories, write scripts, verify copy, create static tiles and short videos, perform quality checks and schedule posts.
• Design eye‑catching assets using Canva and basic video editing tools to achieve high click‑through rates.
• Research emerging trends in sports and pop culture and proactively reach out to creators, partners and platforms for collaborations.
• Ensure all content complies with Snapchat safety guidelines and platform policies.
• Track performance metrics and adjust publishing strategy to maximize reach and growth.

Required profile

• Bilingual French and English is highly preferred for content sourcing and partner outreach.
• Deep interest in viral internet trends, sports and pop culture.
• Strong work ethic, trustworthy and able to work independently in a fast‑changing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva for graphic creation.
• Comfort using Google Suite for collaboration and scheduling.
• Basic video editing capabilities for short‑form clips.
