About the role

The City of Chillicothe is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its summer seasonal workforce. Positions are available across municipal pools, parks, and office locations, providing essential services to residents during the peak season.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain safe operations at city swimming pools.
• Manage pool concessions, cash handling, and customer service.
• Provide lifeguarding coverage and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with park maintenance, lead seasonal activities, and perform general labor tasks.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and front‑desk support.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old (except for city pool positions where a lower age may be permitted).
• Relevant certifications required for lifeguard roles.
• Willingness to work at various city facilities and adapt to changing schedules.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing if required.
