Technical Support Engineer - Kubernetes & Cloud Native

About the role

A client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer with experience in Kubernetes, OpenShift (OCP), infrastructure, networking, storage, monitoring, logging and automation to provide technical support and after-sales services for cloud-native and container platform solutions. The position is remote, with occasional client-site visits, under a third-party contract.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical guidance, product demonstrations and customer training.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and manage support tickets.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical solutions and identify business opportunities.
• Prepare technical proposals, bids, test reports and implementation plans.
• Gather customer and market requirements to support product development.
• Take part in technical presentations, marketing activities and partner collaborations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in IT, cloud computing, infrastructure or Internet-related companies.
• Preferred: experience in technical support, after-sales service, R&D or O&M for medium-to-large projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
