Techno Commercial Manager – RAN (East & North Africa)

About the role

Join a leading telecom player as a Techno Commercial Manager for Radio Access Network (RAN) in East and North Africa. You will blend deep technical knowledge with commercial acumen to shape offers, guide negotiations and drive profitable growth across RAN engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead RAN techno‑commercial strategy for priority engagements, benchmarking and new product introductions.
• Translate RAN technology advances into ROI/TCO value narratives with appropriate commercial structures.
• Contribute to Strategy‑to‑Win and country strategies, influencing RFQ preparation and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Contract Management and Sales to deliver data‑driven, market‑relevant pricing and margin‑smart incentives.
• Optimize offer scope with domain teams to maximise customer ROI and win probability.
• Shape negotiation strategy with Customer Unit Commercial Management and represent techno‑commercial logic to CTO/CPO/CFO teams.
• Industrialise reusable assets such as value arguments, commercial models and T&C frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in commercial or techno‑commercial roles within the RAN domain, handling complex telecom/ICT deals.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with senior technical and financial leaders.
• Fluent English; additional African languages a plus.

Required skills

• RAN technologies: 2G‑5G, Massive MIMO, software licensing, Cloud RAN, Open RAN.
• Exposure to Core, Cloud, Transport and OSS/BSS.
• Commercial modelling, TCO/ROI analysis and value‑based pricing.
