Transport Execution Specialist

About the role

As a Transport Execution Specialist you will join the Operations team to oversee international transport flows for Stellantis in Algeria. You will ensure smooth execution, quickly address any deviations, and work closely with carriers, customs brokers and internal stakeholders to maintain service continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control overseas and inland transport execution flows in Algeria.
• Maintain continuity and reliability of transport operations.
• Manage operational issues during transit, arrival, and delivery phases.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, customs brokers, and customer sites (plants/warehouses).
• Track transport status and provide full visibility through Track & Trace systems.
• Identify deviations, escalate issues and implement corrective action plans.
• Lead regular operational meetings with all stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, logistics partners and local authorities.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports on transport execution and performance indicators.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in overseas transport or freight forwarding operations.
• Professional proficiency in English, French and Arabic.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Good understanding of transport monitoring and reporting processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools – Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Visio a plus).
• Experience using Track & Trace systems.
