Trust and Safety Analyst

About the role

The Trust and Safety Analyst safeguards the platform by detecting, assessing, and mitigating harmful content and abusive behavior. Working remotely, you will collaborate with product, engineering, policy, and legal teams to keep the community safe and uphold brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate complex safety reports, including harassment, hate speech, misinformation, and illegal content.
• Apply and interpret internal policies with high accuracy, identifying gaps and recommending updates.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve detection tools and reduce harmful content at scale.
• Analyze data to uncover new abuse vectors and proactively escalate emerging threats.
• Handle high‑priority escalations, law‑enforcement requests, and crisis situations while protecting user privacy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, or Intelligence Analysis within the tech/social‑media sector.
• Proven ability to make rapid, high‑stakes decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong emotional intelligence and established self‑care strategies for exposure to disturbing content.
• Fluent English with excellent written communication skills.
