Unreal Engine 5 Game Developer (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Unreal Engine 5 developer to join our remote team on a part‑time, contract basis. You will work on core gameplay systems, UI integration, and mobile optimisation for Android and iOS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement gameplay mechanics using UE5 Blueprints and C++.
• Create and integrate UI elements with existing UX designs.
• Develop quest, dialogue, inventory, and player progression systems.
• Integrate character systems, animation blueprints, and gameplay abilities.
• Build AI behavior trees and NPC conversation logic.
• Implement save/load functionality and player data management.
• Optimise performance for mobile devices, addressing memory, draw calls, LOD, and texture constraints.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, level designers, and sound designers.
• Debug technical issues, conduct code reviews, and maintain clean project architecture.
• Assist with packaging, deployment, and testing builds.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Unreal Engine 5, Blueprints, and C++.
• Strong background in mobile game optimisation for Android and iOS.
• Ability to work independently within an established roadmap.
• Effective communication in English and collaborative mindset.
