Veterinary Doctor – Dairy Herd Health

About the role

The Veterinary Doctor will safeguard the health, welfare and productivity of Baladna’s large dairy herd in Adrar. You will lead preventive health programs, diagnose and treat illnesses, and support overall herd performance in a fast‑growing agro‑industrial project.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular herd health checks and promptly diagnose diseases, injuries and reproductive disorders.
• Administer vaccinations, deworming treatments and other veterinary medicines.
• Design and implement preventive medicine and biosecurity programs, including isolation and quarantine procedures.
• Supervise artificial insemination, pregnancy monitoring, calving and manage reproductive performance.
• Collaborate with nutritionists to address health issues linked to feed and metabolism.
• Maintain accurate health and reproductive records and generate reports for management.

Required profile

• Master’s level education (Master 2, Ingéniorat, Bac + 5) in veterinary medicine or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working with dairy cattle.
• Strong knowledge of animal health, biosecurity and herd management.
