About the role
MAJOR, an Algerian EdTech startup building a digital platform, is looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to turn ideas into professional, engaging and viral video content for itself and its partners. The role is flexible, with no fixed working hours, and is primarily remote, with on-site filming in Algiers only when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Film professional videos with a camera or smartphone, depending on the project.
- Shoot viral Reels, social media content, interviews, school videos and promotional content.
- Handle lighting, framing, audio and basic production setup.
- Edit videos for social media and other platforms, creating engaging cuts, transitions, subtitles, sound design and motion graphics.
Required profile
- No camera or other equipment needed: MAJOR provides the audiovisual equipment and, if needed, a laptop.
- Flexible, result-oriented approach focused on speed and content quality.
Required skills
- Video editing and motion graphics.
- Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (preferred).
