2D Animator & Character Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative 2D Animator & Character Designer to bring educational concepts to life for young learners. In this hands‑on position you will combine animation, character design, and visual storytelling to produce engaging video content.

Key responsibilities

• Transform written educational scripts into dynamic animated scenes.
• Design and illustrate characters, backgrounds, and other visual assets.
• Create 2D animations that align with learning objectives.
• Develop storyboards and visual sequences to guide production.
• Ensure smooth character movement, expressions, and seamless scene transitions.
• Maintain visual consistency across episodes and learning modules.
• Collaborate with the content team to deliver age‑appropriate educational experiences.
• Meet project timelines while delivering high‑quality animated videos.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Design, Multimedia or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
• Proven experience in 2D animation, character design, illustration, or visual storytelling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep visual consistency across multiple videos.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 2D animation software.
• Character design and illustration abilities.
• Storyboarding and script‑to‑animation translation.
• Understanding of animation principles, timing, and composition.
• Motion graphics and video editing software.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted creative tools (optional).
