Admissions Support Coordinator

About the role

The Admissions Support Coordinator is the first live point of contact for prospective medical school applicants. Working remotely, you will engage website visitors in real time, qualify leads, and ensure a smooth handoff to the admissions team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to visitors interacting with the website’s AI chat agent.
• Qualify applicants by reviewing MCAT scores, prerequisite courses, and other criteria.
• Capture accurate contact details and answer general program questions.
• Warm‑transfer qualified visitors to an Admissions Coordinator with a concise summary.
• Place outbound calls to CRM leads during low‑traffic periods, assess interest and eligibility, and update lead status.
• Maintain detailed call logs and follow a consistent outreach cadence.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in admissions, enrollment, customer service, sales, or call‑center environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for chat and phone interactions.
• Ability to quickly learn admissions criteria such as MCAT requirements and prerequisite coursework.
• Excellent attention to detail for data capture and verification.
• Comfortable multitasking between live engagement and outbound calling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑assisted chat tools.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Familiarity with dialer software for outbound calls.
