About the role
Nib International Bank is looking for a Branch Manager I to lead its branches in the Hawassa District. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily banking operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and delivering high‑quality customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all branch activities in Hawassa District.
- Ensure adherence to banking policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive business growth by promoting the bank’s products and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and local partners.
Required profile
- Minimum MA/MBA/MSc/BA/BSc degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics or related fields.
- At least 6–8 years of banking experience.
- Relevant experience such as 2 years as Banking Business Manager III, 3 years as Banking Business Manager II, or equivalent senior banking positions.
- Proven ability to lead a branch team and manage operational performance.
