Cable Installer – Monteur-câbleur (Batna)

About the role

The Monteur-câbleur is a full‑time, on‑site position at General Electric Algeria Turbines in Batna. The employee installs, routes and connects electrical cables in turbine equipment, supporting commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring plans and schematics.
• Prepare cables, perform structured cabling and use hand tools to assemble and secure wiring systems.
• Check connections, carry out basic electrical tests and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document work performed accurately and maintain records.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians during commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Strong practical experience with cables and cabling in industrial or energy environments.
• Knowledge of electricity fundamentals and safe electrical work practices.
• Vocational training or technical diploma in electricity, electromechanics or a related field.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and follow installation instructions.
• Attention to detail, commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Batna and adapt to shift or rotating schedules if required.
