Centre Support Consultant

About the role

The Centre Support Consultant works under the supervision of the Protection Centre Manager to ensure the safe, compassionate, and efficient operation of the Protection Centre. This position provides direct assistance to vulnerable beneficiaries and their infants, coordinating closely with protection and medical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a continuous, professional presence in the Centre during assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Assist beneficiaries and their babies with daily needs such as food, sanitation, and personal hygiene while respecting dignity and privacy.
• Identify beneficiaries requiring medical attention and promptly notify the medical team.
• Support individuals with reduced mobility or medical vulnerability by accompanying them to hospitals or medical assessments.
• Follow instructions from the medical team and help implement care plans.

Required profile

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and holidays.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and the “Do No Harm” principle.
• Ability to work collaboratively with protection and medical staff.
• Respect for beneficiary dignity and cultural sensitivity.
