Computer Vision Engineer – Robotics R&D

About the role

Innovageek Robotics is building a core R&D team in Algeria to develop advanced robotic platforms such as UAVs and UGVs. As a Computer Vision Engineer you will design and implement perception systems that enable autonomous navigation and real‑world problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise computer vision algorithms for autonomous robots.
• Design SLAM, visual odometry and localisation pipelines.
• Integrate advanced vision sensors (e.g., event‑based or 360° cameras) into robotic platforms.
• Build real‑time perception pipelines for detection and scene understanding.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary R&D team to bring algorithms from prototype to deployment.

Required profile

• Strong background in computer vision, AI or robotics.
• Experience with perception systems for autonomous platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast‑growing deep‑tech startup environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenCV.
• Experience using deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
