Data Analyst – Financial Services

About the role
Yassir is looking for a Data Analyst to help shape decision‑making and product development for its Financial Services portfolio. You will work across Wallets, Payments, Bill Payments, Merchant Payments and P2P Transfers, turning large data sets into actionable insights for millions of African users.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze customer, transaction, merchant and agent data to uncover trends, opportunities and performance drivers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Operations, Risk, Finance and Engineering to answer business questions and support product decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and KPI tracking frameworks.
- Monitor metrics such as customer growth, engagement, retention, transaction performance and revenue.
Required profile
- Motivated data analyst with a strong analytical mindset.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving environment.
- Ability to formulate hypotheses, derive insights and communicate findings clearly.
- Interest in FinTech and financial‑services data.
