Engineer-Technician (Kitchen)

About the role

The Engineer‑Technician for the kitchen will ensure that all guest‑related maintenance requests are addressed promptly and that the kitchen facilities operate safely and efficiently. Working with minimal supervision, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of equipment and building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate solutions clearly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Transport tools and equipment, identify and operate shut‑off valves, and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies.
• Read basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings and HVAC diagrams to diagnose issues.
• Perform complex repairs on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and pool heating systems while complying with company standards and local codes.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to subsequent shifts using established communication protocols.

Required profile

• Advanced ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics related to MEP systems.
• Strong background in general mechanics, plumbing, and HVAC operations.
• Demonstrated competence in at least three of the following: air‑conditioning, electricity, mechanics, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, energy‑saving measures, building management.
• Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision.
