FA Cash Manager

About the role

The FA Cash Manager is responsible for cash performance and working‑capital optimisation across GE Healthcare’s imaging, ultrasound and PCS portfolio in Francophone Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Sub‑Saharan countries). The role combines operational execution, process optimisation and rigorous KPI management to improve collections, billing and DSO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, forecasting and tracking of cash metrics (collections, overdue receivables, disputes, billing, unbilled receivables).
• Own quarterly closings, develop working‑capital forecasts and present results to senior leadership.
• Drive dispute resolution and customer engagement with operational teams, creating KPIs and building capability.
• Manage a team of ~10 cash collectors, set objectives, coach performance and ensure target delivery.
• Conduct weekly operating reviews, implement recovery plans and coordinate with zone and regional stakeholders.
• Design and execute mitigation mechanisms for past‑due and BDR challenges.
• Lead the On‑Book program, ensuring accurate reimbursement tracking and data integrity.
• Partner with distributors to maintain balance accuracy and timely reconciliations.
• Collaborate with OTR/Service teams to improve billing quality and dispute management.
• Work with HFS teams to ensure compliant banking processes for equipment and service contracts.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in cash management, collections or working‑capital optimisation.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering measurable cash‑performance improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast, analyse variances and present insights to senior management.
• Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably within the healthcare or imaging sector.
• Fluent in French and English.
