Finance Modeling Associate

About the role

Baladna El Djazaier is seeking a Finance Modeling Associate to support its large‑scale dairy and agro‑industrial project in Algeria. The role will develop and maintain financial models that underpin budgeting, forecasting and investment decisions, turning complex data into clear insights for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Build, update and maintain detailed financial models such as DCF, scenario and project‑economics models.
• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify performance drivers.
• Analyze financial statements and operational data to underpin business cases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather assumptions and validate projections.
• Prepare dashboards, presentations and reports for senior leadership.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness and compliance with internal policies.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimise modelling tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial modelling, valuation or related analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
