Food and Beverage Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our hotel team in Setif, Algeria. The role supports daily F&B operations, ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service in a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and plating.
• Set up and clear dining areas for service.
• Serve meals and beverages to guests efficiently.
• Welcome guests, take orders accurately, and answer menu questions.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Restock supplies and manage inventory of service items.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service flow.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks and uphold hotel cleanliness policies.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful work environment.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations with practical experience in preparation and service.
• Excellent customer service and clear, courteous communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality setting, including shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Attention to hygiene, safety and presentation standards.
• Team‑oriented, reliable and eager to learn hotel procedures.
• Previous experience in hotels, restaurants or cafés is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic spoken and written skills in local languages; additional languages are a plus.
