Human Resources Director

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual English‑French HR Director to lead all human‑resources functions within a manufacturing environment. The role combines strategic policy development, talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance oversight to support safe and productive factory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to manufacturing operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead recruitment for factory labor positions, manage sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
• Administer employee benefits programs specific to the manufacturing sector and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee performance‑management systems for factory workers, including goal setting, evaluations, and improvement plans.
• Handle employee‑relations matters, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on HR issues, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring data confidentiality and security.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing HR management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on factory labor management.
• Fluent in French and English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) is a plus.
