IT Coordinator

About the role

The IT Coordinator provides day‑to‑day technical support for computer hardware, peripherals and related software within a hospitality environment. The role ensures smooth operation of all IT equipment, assists staff with technical issues, and helps maintain the hotel’s digital infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, printers, scanners and other peripheral devices.
• Respond to program error messages, resolve or terminate problematic applications.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and recommend solutions to business‑related IT problems.
• Coordinate with vendors or external technicians for major hardware/software repairs.
• Maintain and upgrade hardware, software and website technical architecture, including telecommunication connectivity.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures, reporting incidents promptly.
• Communicate effectively with employees using electronic devices and documentation tools.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific certifications needed.

Required skills

• Computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Peripheral device maintenance (printers, scanners).
• Basic website technical architecture knowledge.
• Understanding of telecommunication connectivity.
