Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Hassi Messaoud. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance processes, and reducing the Cost of Service Delivery (COSD) within the assigned GeoUnit or location.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance asset utilization, reliability and COSD.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement projects to reduce downtime, waiting times and work‑in‑process.
• Support failure investigations and root‑cause elimination in collaboration with reliability, sustaining and engineering teams.
• Apply Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) to improve maintenance task quality and frequency.
• Participate in technical audits and CAT compliance assessments, ensuring timely closure of remedial actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Entry‑level experience or strong exposure to maintenance engineering and reliability improvement.
• Good understanding of maintenance processes, failure analysis and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Willingness to work in a field‑based operational environment.
