Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a motivated Medical Representative to join its sales team in Tizi Ouzou, Algeria. You will be responsible for promoting Hikma’s high‑quality generic and specialty medicines to healthcare professionals, ensuring product knowledge and compliance with ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage a portfolio of healthcare professionals, providing personalized follow‑up and regular updates.
• Utilise reporting tools to track performance, analyse data and share insights with the team.
• Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with doctors, pharmacists and other key opinion leaders.
• Present and demonstrate the benefits of Hikma’s pharmaceutical products in line with company ethics.
• Plan and execute targeted visits to achieve optimal market coverage.
• Participate in promotional events such as EPU, focus groups, and congresses to showcase expertise.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Medical Representative.
• Degree in medicine, pharmacy, biology, dentistry, or veterinary sciences.
• Own a personal vehicle for field visits.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• Ability to analyse data and use reporting tools.
• Good knowledge of the healthcare environment and pharmaceutical products.
