Method Engineer – Biosimilar Manufacturing

About the role

The Method Engineer will design, improve, and optimise manufacturing processes for biosimilar products. You will ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define, write, and update SOPs and technical documents in line with GMP and internal standards.
• Develop, monitor and analyse Engineering KPIs.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and operational‑excellence projects.
• Support technical investigations, root‑cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE rules, safety standards and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Assist in internal audits, regulatory inspections and departmental meetings.
• Maintain the Engineering staff training plan and documentation.

Required profile

• Engineer’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Process, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong organisational skills, team orientation and results‑driven mindset.
• Fluent written and oral communication in French and English.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of GMP requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
