Planificateur de Production

About the role

The Production Planner will be responsible for planning and monitoring short‑, medium‑, and long‑term production programs. The role ensures optimal use of machines, raw materials, packaging, and labor to meet customer demand while controlling production costs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and track availability of production resources, including equipment performance, maintenance schedules, raw materials, packaging, and workforce.
• Contribute to the Master Production Schedule (PDP) to align stock levels with target inventories and minimize costs.
• Break down the monthly PDP into detailed daily shift and line schedules, optimizing format changes, cleaning‑in‑place (CIP) cycles, and product‑machine combinations.
• Generate manufacturing orders and issue material reservation instructions for logistics.
• Monitor daily production progress, identify deviations, adjust plans, and propose alternative scenarios.
• Measure planning performance using KPIs such as customer service rate, product freshness, schedule adherence, and frequency of format changes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar production planning role.
• Methodical, rigorous, organized with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Resilient under tight deadlines, flexible, autonomous and able to lead collaboration.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
