Principal of Novi4All Center Based Programs

About the role

The Principal of the Novi4ALL Learning Center leads and supervises special education programming for K‑12 students and the Novi Adult Transition Center (ages 18‑26). The role focuses on establishing high expectations, clear communication, and a collaborative learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instructional leadership and guidance to teachers and support staff across the center‑based programs.
• Develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate special education instructional programs.
• Support program development, instructional planning, and staff collaboration.
• Ensure programming aligns with district goals, student needs, and applicable policies.
• Report to the Directors of Special Education and work with the Special Education and Teaching & Learning Departments.

Required profile

• Full or temporary approval as a Special Education Supervisor or Director.
• Valid State of Michigan Teacher and Administration certifications.
• Master’s degree or higher.
• Demonstrated leadership in special education and student services.
• Credential/endorsement in at least one area of special education.
• Preferred experience in ASD center programming and/or adult transition services.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA and best practices for autism and behavioral needs.
• Experience planning and leading professional development for staff.
• Active participation and leadership at the district level, including professional conferences.
