Project Procurement Manager

About the role

The Project Procurement Manager will own end‑to‑end procurement delivery for assigned projects, from the bid phase through execution and close‑out. You will develop and manage procurement strategies, plans and schedules to ensure timely, cost‑effective supply of engineered materials and services while safeguarding safety, quality and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for projects from bid to close‑out, aligning with project schedules and WBS.
• Develop and execute procurement plans, define package strategies and monitor schedules.
• Manage RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), evaluate bids and recommend supplier awards.
• Negotiate contracts to achieve competitive conditions, cost savings and optimal Total Cost of Ownership.
• Maintain supplier relationships, oversee onboarding, qualification and SAP readiness.
• Control purchase orders, contracts, change orders and manage supplier risks, claims and non‑conformances.
• Collaborate with Engineering, PM, Quality, Sales, Logistics, Finance and Legal to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project‑focused procurement or supply‑chain management.
• Strong understanding of contractual, risk and claim management in project environments.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

• SAP (procurement module) proficiency
