QHSSE Trainee – Cargo Operations

About the role

Swissport Algeria is seeking a motivated QHSSE Trainee to join its cargo operations at Algiers Airport. This position offers hands‑on exposure to quality, health, safety, security and environmental practices within a dynamic, international aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA), audits and safety drills.
• Assist in incident investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Monitor QHSSE and cargo operational KPIs.
• Participate in prevention and awareness campaigns.
• Contribute to quality, HSE, security and environmental improvement projects.
• Help ensure compliance with aviation and air‑cargo regulations, including Dangerous Goods, CEIV Pharma and RA3.

Required profile

• Currently studying HSE, Quality, Environment, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Analytical, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Curious, proactive and eager to learn about aviation and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
