About the role

The Laboratory Manager will lead the dental prosthesis laboratory, overseeing both technical production and commercial development. Reporting directly to the General Director, the role combines team leadership with client portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of technicians across reception, manufacturing, polishing, quality control and shipping.
• Recruit, onboard and train new staff; identify and address skill gaps.
• Set individual and collective performance targets, monitor results and maintain a productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene and safety protocols.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of external dental offices and clinics, negotiate offers, and follow up on quotes.
• Drive revenue and profitability through new client acquisition, upselling and margin optimization.
• Maintain accurate production schedules to meet internal clinic needs and external client SLAs.
• Provide regular reports on turnover, margins, production volume, quality indicators and client portfolio status.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a dental laboratory or similar technical‑commercial environment.
• Educational background equivalent to a Licence (Bac+3) or higher (Master, Engineering).
• Proven leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in client prospecting and relationship management.
