Senior AI Agent Developer (LangChain & Deep Agents)

About the role

Diraya Inc. is looking for a Senior AI Agent Developer to design, build, and optimise sophisticated AI agents using LangChain and other LLM orchestration frameworks. This full‑time remote position focuses on creating multi‑step, tool‑using agents that integrate large language models with external data sources and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end‑to‑end AI agents and workflows, including data ingestion, reasoning, error handling and monitoring.
• Integrate LLMs with APIs, databases, and cloud services while ensuring performance, security and reliability.
• Write clean, testable Python code following software design patterns and version‑control best practices.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
• Monitor deployed agents, analyse logs and user feedback, and iteratively improve prompts, tools and pipelines.
• Document architectural decisions, best practices and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience in AI agent development.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern development workflows (testing, CI/CD, Git).
• Hands‑on experience with LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Understanding of generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, model evaluation and safety guardrails.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team and communicate technical solutions clearly.
