Senior QA Engineer

About the role

Yassir is expanding its digital services across the Maghreb and beyond, and needs a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality of its mobile and web products. You will review specifications, design test strategies, and verify that software meets the highest standards before release.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents and provide feedback.
• Create, execute, and manage both manual and automated test cases for Android and iOS applications.
• Document testing phases, report bugs, and track defects efficiently.
• Perform regression, smoke, sanity, performance, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Conduct post‑release testing to validate product stability in real‑world usage.
• Design and develop automation scripts using open‑source tools and at least one programming language.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities to align with project timelines.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience with manual and automated mobile testing on Android and iOS.
• BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray.

Required skills

• Android and iOS testing.
• Automated testing frameworks and at least one programming language.
• API testing with Postman.
• Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) test case design.
• Test management tools (e.g., Xray).
• Robot Framework (plus).
• Agile project management.
