Site Coordinator

About the role

The Site Coordinator will oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of civil engineering projects for AE2I Algérie. This role ensures that all underground and above‑ground works meet technical specifications, local codes, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate design, construction, and maintenance of soil mechanics, seismic analysis, and foundation works for GE‑supplied equipment.
• Define technical requirements for civil works (leveling, foundations, slabs) and select appropriate contractors.
• Prepare cost estimates, constructability assessments, and sequencing plans.
• Apply local civil codes and standards to structural steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, wood framing, and masonry designs.
• Analyze and design industrial structures to resist static and dynamic loads.
• Develop in‑depth technical knowledge and support policy/strategy execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
