Software Engineer – Scalable Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for multiple business domains, including HR, insurance, and enterprise operations. The role is based in Birkhadem, Algiers and offers the chance to work on impactful projects across diverse sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define and implement new features.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best-practice development standards.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 – 5 years of professional software engineering experience (or 1 – 2 years for junior candidates).
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and software architecture.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and consumption.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
