Supply Chain Head

About the role

JAMJOOM ALGERIA LIL DAWAA is seeking a Supply Chain Head to lead its end‑to‑end supply chain operations within the pharmaceutical sector. The role will coordinate across commercial, finance, production, planning, regulatory, sales and quality teams to ensure seamless product flow and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full supply chain process and drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.
• Act as the central liaison between internal departments to align supply chain objectives.
• Oversee distribution centre and invoicing functions, ensuring inventory plans meet business targets and minimize shortages.
• Analyze current processes, propose improvements and establish performance metrics.
• Handle importation, customs clearance, freight forwarding and coordination with third‑party logistics providers.
• Monitor external vendors, taking corrective actions when performance deviates.
• Lead sourcing, purchasing and import of active pharmaceutical ingredients and packaging materials.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to meet material requirements for stability studies and new product registrations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (M2) or engineering degree (Bac +5) in a relevant field.
• 6 + years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures and S&OP processes.
