Telecom Graduate Resource Program – Remote Internship

About the role

The LATRO Telecom Graduate Resource Program is a six‑month remote internship designed for recent graduates eager to start a career in telecommunications. Participants receive structured training, hands‑on project work, and mentorship to build practical network engineering skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecom and IT network systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot basic connectivity issues.
• Support voice, data, and internet services, including digital service platforms.
• Perform routine system checks, updates, and documentation of activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve technical incidents and service requests.
• Provide end‑user support for telecom services and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (within 12 months) in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Data Analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS and DHCP.
• Familiarity with VoIP, fiber optics or mobile network technologies.
• Exposure to network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
