Business Analyst – Commercial Effectiveness Services

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a driven Business Analyst to join its Commercial Effectiveness Services (CES) team in Algiers. You will help design and deliver data‑driven commercial solutions for pharmaceutical and life‑science clients across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from multiple sources to create analysis‑ready models.
• Conduct end‑to‑end quantitative analysis, turning raw data into actionable business recommendations.
• Build and maintain Excel models, Power BI dashboards, and PowerPoint deliverables for client presentations.
• Support multiple client engagements simultaneously across the Africa region.
• Assist with project proposals and client interactions under senior supervision.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, comfortable with ambiguity.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, modeling) and PowerPoint.
• Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fluency in English; French and/or Arabic are strong assets for the region.
• 0–3 years of experience in consulting, analytics, or a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment.
