Business Unit Lead – Algeria

About the role

Philip Morris International is seeking a Business Unit Lead to drive growth in the Djefla territory of Algeria. The role will support the company’s transition to smoke‑free products by developing and executing commercial strategies that increase distribution and market share for existing and new brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the assigned territory and create a tailored commercial plan aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Set distribution targets, monitor performance, and implement actions to improve brand availability.
• Coordinate market surveys with external partners, ensure data quality, and provide field coaching.
• Lead front‑line coaching, integrating digital tools and field sessions to enhance consumer and retail experiences.
• Review implementation initiatives, provide clear direction, and optimise effectiveness.

Required profile

• Graduate in Business Studies, Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum three years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Valid driving licence.
• Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
