Director Sales & Marketing – Multi‑Property

About the role

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the sales function for a multi‑property hotel portfolio with over 300 peak rooms and significant catering revenue. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, you will drive both reactive and proactive sales initiatives, manage the marketing budget, and ensure the brand’s service strategy is fully implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic account plan targeting key demand generators.
• Oversee day‑to‑day sales activities, including group, area, and electronic lead channels.
• Coordinate marketing communications with regional teams to launch property‑specific campaigns and promotions.
• Analyze market trends, competitive reports, and customer intelligence to adjust sales strategies.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective use of resources to meet revenue goals.
• Build long‑term, value‑based relationships with clients and partners.
• Lead and mentor a sales team to achieve booking targets and overall property revenue.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field plus 4 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year degree with 2 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise a team.
• Proven lodging sales experience with progressive career growth in the hotel industry.
