Engineering Technician Utilities - Biosimilars

About the role

El Kendi, part of MS Pharma, is looking for an Engineering Technician to support operations in a biosimilar manufacturing facility in Algeria. The role ensures the optimal functioning, maintenance and availability of pharmaceutical utility systems in a highly regulated GMP environment.

Required profile

• BTS or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation
• 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or biosimilar manufacturing environment is strongly preferred

Required skills

• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical and bioprocess utilities such as HVAC, Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam and compressed air
• Solid understanding of GMP requirements for utilities supporting biologics and biosimilar manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics and equipment documentation
• Experience using CMMS for preventive and corrective maintenance, work orders and equipment history tracking
• Strong troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and rapid intervention on critical utility systems
