About the role
El Kendi, part of MS Pharma, is looking for an Engineering Technician to support operations in a biosimilar manufacturing facility in Algeria. The role ensures the optimal functioning, maintenance and availability of pharmaceutical utility systems in a highly regulated GMP environment.
Required profile
- BTS or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or biosimilar manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Required skills
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical and bioprocess utilities such as HVAC, Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam and compressed air
- Solid understanding of GMP requirements for utilities supporting biologics and biosimilar manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics and equipment documentation
- Experience using CMMS for preventive and corrective maintenance, work orders and equipment history tracking
- Strong troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and rapid intervention on critical utility systems
