Feed Supervisor

About the role

The Feed Supervisor oversees daily feed mixing, preparation and delivery on a large dairy operation in Adrar. The role ensures that approved rations are produced accurately, on schedule and meet quality and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise shift‑level preparation of Total Mixed Rations (TMR) following approved mixing sheets and ration specifications.
• Deliver feed to pens and bunks according to the feeding schedule and report any refusals or irregular intake.
• Oversee feed centre operators and the safe operation of mixer wagons, loaders and weighing equipment, reporting faults promptly.
• Handle on‑site feed and raw material stock, perform basic storage checks, rotation and flag shortages or quality concerns.
• Coordinate daily tasks among operators, maintain accurate mixing logs, delivery records and stock movements for handover.
• Ensure all feed handling complies with health, safety, food safety and hygiene standards, escalating issues to the line manager.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science or related field; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in dairy farm or feed‑mill operations, including TMR mixing and feed delivery equipment.
• Practical knowledge of feed ingredients, feeding schedules for dairy cattle and basic team coordination on a shift basis.
